Bial Foundation

A Portuguese medical and scientific foundation that funds research at the frontiers of neuroscience, psychology, and consciousness, with particular emphasis on parapsychology and the scientific study of anomalous cognition. Since 1994, the Bial Foundation has awarded biennial grants supporting psi research across European universities and research centers, making it the primary institutional funder of parapsychology in continental Europe. Its funding program operates through a transparent competitive grant process reviewed by an international scientific committee, providing significant credibility to the research it supports. The Foundation also hosts biennial international meetings on consciousness and parapsychology that convene leading researchers across disciplines.
