Abstract
Received IFF reply-frequency signals are examined to determine whether theyre being interfered with by enemy sources, and indication of the extent of detected interference is provided. The number of correct replies received from selected range bins surrounding and including the center one in which a target leading edge is first declared is counted and compared with the count of the number of friend-accept decisions made based on replies from the selected range bins. The level of interference is then indicated by the ratio between the two counts.
