Summary

Retired U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot who documented sustained UAP encounters experienced by his squadron off the East Coast of the United States between 2014 and 2015 following the Navy's upgrade to the AN/APG-79 AESA radar system. Unlike the single-event Nimitz encounter, Graves and his VFA-11 squadron reported near-daily UAP sightings over a period of months - the most sustained documented military UAP encounter series in the modern era. Testified before the House Oversight Committee on July 26, 2023, representing active-duty and recently separated pilots reluctant to come forward due to professional stigma. Founded Americans for Safe Aerospace in 2022 to provide a structured, professionally credible reporting channel for military and commercial aviators.
