Summary

Retired U.S. Air Force Captain and Minuteman ICBM Launch Control Officer who is the primary living witness to the March 16, 1967 Echo Flight incident at Malmstrom AFB, Montana - in which all ten nuclear-armed Minuteman missiles went offline simultaneously while surface security personnel reported a glowing red UAP hovering over the front gate. The missile shutdowns are documented in declassified USAF records. Salas went public in the 1990s and co-organized the landmark September 2010 National Press Club 'UFOs and Nuclear Weapons' press conference alongside six other former USAF officers, presenting signed affidavits and declassified documents before national media.
