Ralph Blumenthal is a veteran New York Times investigative reporter whose December 2017 co-byline on 'Glowing Auras and Black Money: The Pentagon's Mysterious U.F.O. Program' - with Helene Cooper and Leslie Kean - broke the existence of the AATIP program to the public and triggered the modern UAP disclosure era. With over 45 years at the Times, Blumenthal brought institutional credibility to UAP journalism and has continued covering the subject through subsequent reporting and his 2021 biography of Harvard psychiatrist John Mack.
