Summary
British-American applied physicist and Stanford Professor Emeritus who organized the 1997 Sturrock Panel - a rigorous review of physical UAP evidence by nine independent physical scientists - and founded the Society for Scientific Exploration and its peer-reviewed Journal of Scientific Exploration. His 1974 survey of American Astronomical Society members found approximately 5% had witnessed unexplained aerial phenomena, and his published work concluded that physical UAP evidence warranted serious scientific investigation. He is among the most credentialed mainstream scientists to formally engage with UAP research.
