Summary

Paul H. Smith is a retired U.S. Army Major who served as an operational remote viewer and unit instructor in the classified STAR GATE remote viewing program from 1983 to 1990. He co-wrote the Army's Remote Viewing Training Manual - the foundational doctrinal document that systematized the Coordinate Remote Viewing protocol developed by Ingo Swann for military intelligence use. His 2005 book 'Reading the Enemy's Mind' remains the most authoritative insider account of the STAR GATE program by an operational participant. After retiring from the Army in 1996 he co-founded the International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA) and continues to teach Coordinate Remote Viewing through Remote Viewing Instructional Services (RVIS).
