Summary

Joseph McMoneagle is a retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer who served as Remote Viewer #001 - the first and most extensively tested operational viewer in the U.S. government's classified remote viewing programs. Recruited into Project GRILL FLAME in 1978, he participated in operational intelligence tasking for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, DIA, NSA, CIA, and Secret Service across the program's entire run. Upon his 1984 Army retirement he received the Legion of Merit, whose citation credited him with producing 'critical intelligence unavailable from any other source' - the only formal military decoration ever issued for remote viewing. He continued as a civilian consultant until STAR GATE's termination in 1995 and has since publicly demonstrated remote viewing on national television in six countries.
