Background
Dr. Eric Davis is an astrophysicist who has operated at the intersection of theoretical physics and classified U.S. government research for nearly three decades. Working primarily through EarthTech International - Hal Puthoff's research firm - he co-authored at least six of the 38 classified Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRDs) produced under the AAWSAP contract (2007-2010), covering traversable wormholes, warp drives, and antigravity applications. He is best known outside the physics community as the subject of the Wilson-Davis memo: a leaked 2002 document recording Davis's notes from a meeting with Vice Admiral Thomas R. Wilson, in which Wilson described being denied access to a private aerospace contractor running an off-world vehicle reverse engineering program. In April 2019, Davis briefed the Defense Department's Aerospace Science Board and the Senate Armed Services Committee in closed session. In October 2020, the New York Times quoted him confirming he briefed Congress about 'off-world vehicles not made on this earth.' His combination of theoretical physics credentials, classified government contracting history, and documented congressional briefings makes him one of the most substantively credentialed figures in the UAP research ecosystem.
