Dr. Eric W. Davis

Senior Research Physicist, EarthTech International, 1996–present (private research); 2007–2010 (AAWSAP contractor)

Case File

Background

Dr. Eric Davis is an astrophysicist who has operated at the intersection of theoretical physics and classified U.S. government research for nearly three decades. Working primarily through EarthTech International - Hal Puthoff's research firm - he co-authored at least six of the 38 classified Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRDs) produced under the AAWSAP contract (2007-2010), covering traversable wormholes, warp drives, and antigravity applications. He is best known outside the physics community as the subject of the Wilson-Davis memo: a leaked 2002 document recording Davis's notes from a meeting with Vice Admiral Thomas R. Wilson, in which Wilson described being denied access to a private aerospace contractor running an off-world vehicle reverse engineering program. In April 2019, Davis briefed the Defense Department's Aerospace Science Board and the Senate Armed Services Committee in closed session. In October 2020, the New York Times quoted him confirming he briefed Congress about 'off-world vehicles not made on this earth.' His combination of theoretical physics credentials, classified government contracting history, and documented congressional briefings makes him one of the most substantively credentialed figures in the UAP research ecosystem.

Key Events

1991Receives Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Arizona
1996Begins affiliation with Robert Bigelow's National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS) as visiting research scientist; works on paranormal and UAP phenomenon research alongside Las Vegas-based team
1999Joins EarthTech International as Senior Research Physicist; works with Hal Puthoff on metric engineering, zero-point energy, and advanced propulsion theory
Oct 2002Alleged meeting with Vice Admiral Thomas R. Wilson at a Las Vegas EG&G facility following a SAIC briefing - later documented in the Wilson-Davis memo. Wilson describes having been denied access to a private aerospace contractor managing an off-world vehicle program. Davis records the conversation in detailed notes.
2007-2010Authors and co-authors multiple classified Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRDs) under the AAWSAP contract administered through Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS); topics include traversable wormholes, stargates, warp drives, and antigravity applications
2009Co-authors DIRD: 'Traversable Wormholes, Stargates, and Negative Energy' - one of the core theoretical physics papers commissioned by the DIA and widely regarded as among the most technically substantive of the 38 documents
2010Co-authors DIRD with R. Obousy: 'Warp Drive, Dark Energy, and the Manipulation of Extra Dimensions' - applies dark energy physics to Alcubierre warp drive conceptual framework
Apr 2019Briefs the Defense Department's Aerospace Science Board in closed session; also provides classified briefings to Senate Armed Services Committee members including staff - the first known classified UAP-related congressional briefing by a private researcher in the modern disclosure era
Jun 2019The Wilson-Davis memo is leaked publicly by anonymous sources and posted to the To The Stars Academy community platform; becomes one of the most debated UAP documents ever released
Oct 2020New York Times article 'No Longer in Shadows, Pentagon's U.F.O. Unit Will Make Some Findings Public' quotes Davis confirming he briefed a Defense Department agency and members of Congress about 'off-world vehicles not made on this earth' and stated the materials were not made on this earth by any means
2021-presentContinues research at EarthTech International and Aerospace Corporation; remains one of the few named physicists to publicly state that crash-retrieved non-human materials have been scientifically studied under classified programs
