Summary
Retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and F/A-18F Super Hornet pilot who was David Fravor's wingman during the November 14, 2004 Nimitz UAP encounter. Dietrich was in the backseat of a two-seat F/A-18F alongside another pilot when they observed the same Tic Tac-shaped object that Fravor described. Where Fravor dove toward the object and attempted to intercept it, Dietrich maintained altitude as the designated observer - making her account the single most important corroborating witness to Fravor's encounter. She kept her account private for over a decade before going public in a May 2021 60 Minutes interview, making her the first female military UAP witness to come forward publicly in the modern disclosure era.
