Summary

Part I of the Gemini 5 technical debriefing transcript, conducted August 30 - September 2, 1965, at the Crew Quarters, Cape Kennedy, Florida, with astronauts L. Gordon Cooper and Charles "Pete" Conrad.

Significance

Part of the larger Gemini-era astronaut debriefing series. Gordon Cooper was one of the most outspoken early astronauts on the UAP topic. This debriefing documents Cooper and Conrad's technical observations from the Gemini 5 eight-day mission -- the longest spaceflight to that date.
