Summary

Office of Naval Intelligence incident summary files spanning boxes 1-233, containing standardized "Check-List - Unidentified Flying Objects" forms for each documented incident. Each summary includes a completed checklist with incident details, and many summaries also include witness lists or statements and additional narrative reports or descriptions. Three separate archival boxes released under PURSUE Release 1 (boxes 1-100, 101-172, and 173-233), representing the most extensive single UAP incident summary collection in the PURSUE corpus. Released via PURSUE Release 1, May 8, 2026.

Significance

The ONI incident summary collection is the largest single block of UAP incident records in PURSUE Release 1 by box count, spanning 233 boxes of standardized checklist-format documentation. The use of a standardized "Check-List - Unidentified Flying Objects" form demonstrates early institutionalized UAP data collection protocols within the Navy's intelligence apparatus, predating later Air Force standardization efforts.
