Summary

A USCENTCOM mission report documenting a UAP observation in the Gulf of Aden in July 2024. Released via PURSUE Release 1 on May 8, 2026. D75 is the highest-numbered DOW mission report in PURSUE Release 1 and one of the most recently dated. Its Gulf of Aden location places it in the same theater as D57 (September 2020), four years later — a period during which Houthi activity and U.S. naval operations in the Gulf of Aden had significantly intensified.

Significance

DOW-UAP-D75 is the highest-numbered DOW report in PURSUE Release 1, implying that the DOW-UAP classification system had catalogued at least 75 reports before the Release 1 declassification. Its July 2024 date — ten months before the PURSUE public release — makes it one of the most recently classified-then-declassified field reports in the corpus. The Gulf of Aden theater context in 2024 is particularly significant given heightened U.S. naval operations against Houthi forces during that period.
